About Me & My Work
What I did
Mathematics and computer science, with projects in image forensics, formal verification, data science, and software development.
My contribution
Mathematics & Computer Science undergraduate, Arcadia University
- Study image-forensics signals through controlled statistical comparisons.
- Model concurrent protocols and check their properties with PRISM.
- Build and evaluate data-analysis and software projects.
Outcome
Expected graduation: May 2027. Research, projects, and conference experiences are documented below.
Evidence
I’m Maoyuan Xu, also known as Thomas. I am pursuing a B.S. with a double major in Mathematics and Computer Science at Arcadia University, following the first two years of a 2+2 program at Jiangsu University. My interests connect mathematical reasoning with experiments and working software.
Selected work
- AI Face Forensics & CCSC Poster Award: my image-forensics study, internal evaluation, and student-poster presentation.
- Concurrent Protocol Verification with PRISM: my concurrent-modeling work within a supervised capstone team.
- Anime Rating Estimation & Leakage Analysis: coursework followed by an explicitly AI-assisted reproducibility and evaluation extension.
- CPU Scheduling & Parallelism Simulator: scheduling timelines and CPU-bound threading/multiprocessing experiments.
- Media Poster Wall: a two-person Flutter course project with media browsing and local favorites.
- CAST-USA 2026: a short record of my conference participation.
